Sketchnoting!? What? Why? How?

Sketchnoting has always been around.  You could argue the cavemen were the first to sketchnote.
But sketchnoting, or visual note-taking, has become a trending term on social media in regards to education.  Sketchnoting combines traditional note taking with sketches of images and structure such as arrows, diagrams, or bullets.  Sounds like what we've always done, but check out the ways that people are amping up their note taking in the videos and links below.  This practice could really assist students and teachers in recording their learning and retaining the information in their memories.
