YouTube Ad Blocker Extension

This Google Chrome extension is a MUST for personal patience sake as well as protecting your class from less than favorable ads on You Tube videos.  Adblock for YouTube is free and super easy to install!  Just follow this link, click on the green, "Add to Google" button, and follow any other directions from there.

Now, when you watch a YouTube video that would normally have ads, you'll see in tiny print below the video, "cleaned by Adblocker for YouTube."

Of course, when watching videos with students, SafeShare is still the best way to watch You Tube videos, because they block the ads and other videos that pop up on the side or at the end of the videos!  They have even added an option to limit the part of the video that is played by adjusting the time on the video.  AND, below the video, you can now "dim the lights" to make the background dark grey, and you can download the video right from SafeShare!

Shouldn't all things be so free and convenient for teachers and students!  ;)
